26 hours left... I'm ready to get started ;)

So it's a bit late to join the party (72-hour Azure Lux jam started ~46 hours ago), but hey, my evening and next day is mostly free, why not? :)

Actually I've been following the jam right from the beginning, but I've been AFK for most of it, but because of this I had some quality time to spend thinking about ideas. And yet, the idea is half baked and already smells funny: it's going to be a 2D physics game featuring useful and dangerous stuff hanging from moving and swinging chains and the player has little time to decide which chains to cut and where.

In other words, the game is about quickly reacting to chains. You know, chain-reaction. That's clearly what Lana and the Azure team meant right? ;)

(I'm terribly sorry. I also have that condition.)

At this point I have a hastily put together prototype in Construct 3 featuring moving-swinging chains that you can cut by tapping / clicking them. It's not a game yet, but stay tuned. I'll be updating the game page and this devlog quite a few times in the next 26 hours and I'm also starting a Github repo (not with the source code, but the exported HTML5 game) so development progress can be tracked in accordance with the jam rules.
